What is it?
Why do I need it?
Do you: drink coffee, tea, red wine, <insert name brand of choice> cola, and eat berries like raspberries or blueberries? You need this toothpaste. I do all of those things, and trust me, they can discolour your teeth. Now, whitening toothpaste is not going to whiten your teeth dramatically. You really do need an at home whitening kit or a trip to the dentist for a professional job to get them properly white. But… if you have done that and want to maintain the results for as long as possible, or, if you are consuming the aforementioned foods and beverages and they are impacting the pearliness of your pearly whites then this toothpaste does make a difference. I’ve tried a bunch of whitening toothpastes. Some leave a nasty filmy feeling in your mouth that develops over a few hours. Some have an unpleasant aftertaste. Some just don’t make a noticeable difference. Oral-B Glamorous White tastes nice, no filmy residue and actually brightens any stains.
Whats the damage?
I’ve bought mine both from Coles for $9.90 AUD and Priceline for $8.99 AUD.
Bottom line, its not cheap, but worth it for a product that works. If its any testament to its effectiveness I have another 3 boxes as back-ups. Both stores mentioned periodically discount this product 25-40%. When they do, I’m like an extreme coupon-er and load up my basket.
An identical product is sold in the US under the brand Crest.
